What a wonderful way to start the morning! I have been reading Pema's book, "The Wisdom of No Escape" with my meditation group. Recently I taught a yoga class with the theme of making friends with oneself, with all the sensations of yoga practice, with all the things that come to mind as we practice. It's such a rich, fundemental idea, as Pema says. I think this could be my teaching theme for the year. Thank you!
Thank you for posting this and for sharing it with me. I am sure to share it and keep the word going. Maitri is probably the most important concept for us to comprehend, particularly in this stressful culture in which we live.
How I love Pema, and how she has changed and improved my life !!! I particulary love the books "Practicing peace in times of war" and "Getting unstuck" but then... I love all she teaches and how she teaches it. THANK YOU !
Glad to have found this blog. I have always appreciated the teachings of Pema. I live in a Christian community so it is very hard to come by folks who want to discuss such things. I look forward to the content and discussions here.
