  1. What a wonderful way to start the morning! I have been reading Pema's book, "The Wisdom of No Escape" with my meditation group. Recently I taught a yoga class with the theme of making friends with oneself, with all the sensations of yoga practice, with all the things that come to mind as we practice. It's such a rich, fundemental idea, as Pema says. I think this could be my teaching theme for the year. Thank you!

Maitri is probably the most important concept for us to comprehend, particularly in this stressful culture in which we live.

  4. Glad to have found this blog. I have always appreciated the teachings of Pema. I live in a Christian community so it is very hard to come by folks who want to discuss such things. I look forward to the content and discussions here.
